Your Latvian filing calendar

The compliance guide states the intervals: the annual report five months after the year ends, the VAT return twenty days after the period. This turns them into your dates. Answer five questions and take the calendar away.

Your filing calendar

Every interval below is read from the ledger in the compliance guide, which is where the dates are sourced and re-checked.

Optional. Fills the year end in from what the company last filed.

Which annual report deadline applies.

The director included.

A company that reinvests everything files one return a year.

2 deadlines in the next twelve months

Add these to your calendar

The calendar stays subscribed, so next year’s dates arrive on their own.

Outlook and everything else take the copied link: in Outlook on the web, Add calendar, then Subscribe from web. Add it from a computer, because the phone apps show a subscribed calendar but cannot add one.

Either way it arrives as a calendar of its own and keeps itself current. To put the dates in your own calendar instead, and import it: in Google Calendar that is Settings, then Import and export, and your calendar is the one to pick under Add to calendar. They become your own events, which you can edit and set reminders on, and which stop moving as the year does.

Deadlines also move for a Latvian public holiday, which this does not know about, so a date landing next to one may be a day or two later in practice. The obligations that arrive on an event rather than a date, a change of beneficial owners or a new employee, are not here because nothing can schedule them in advance.

Every interval above is read from the ledger in The SIA Compliance Calendar: Every Filing a Latvian Company Owes, last checked 11 September 2026. That guide carries what a calendar cannot: which annual report deadline your size actually falls under, when a VAT period is a month rather than a quarter, what a late filing costs, and the obligations that arrive on an event rather than a date.
